This version stores saved and compared school identifiers in your browser’s local storage. No account is required. Lists are not synchronised between devices.

AI-assisted school finder

When you submit a school-search description, it is sent to OpenAI to interpret your requirements. Suggested schools are checked against fields in our profiles; missing information is not treated as a confirmed match. For additional needs, parsed general criteria and catalogue school names are used to search official school and education-authority sources through OpenAI web search. The original description is not passed to the web-search research step. AI-generated summaries link to consulted sources and distinguish document dates from check dates. A limited search is not a school inspection or a guarantee of suitability. Recent research may be reused in temporary server memory for up to an hour; it is not a personal search history. Use general preferences only, without names, contact details or medical information. We do not save a search history or include your description in analytics. The API request disables storage of the response. OpenAI processes requests under its own data policies.

Enquiries

For schools with an official contact checked within the past 90 days, you can request that SchoolMatch forward a message. We use Resend to confirm your email and, only after you review and confirm, send your message and reply address to that named school. The school can reply directly to you and handles your message under its own privacy policy. This is not an application or a newsletter subscription. Do not include children’s names, dates of birth, medical information or documents. Pending personal payloads expire after one hour and are cleared on the next enquiry request after expiry; after provider acceptance the parent email and message are immediately removed from our enquiry database. A limited operational record (school, recipient, consent timestamp, send status and provider reference) is retained for up to 30 days and removed on subsequent requests. Our email processor retains its own delivery records under its policies. Hashed hourly limits help prevent abuse. Optional analytics records school identifiers and operational status only, never your email, message or confirmation token. To request help or deletion, contact hello@schoolmatcheurope.com.

External services

The site uses system fonts. School cover images are served locally by SchoolMatch Europe. Viewing a cover does not contact the original image host. Source links open external websites only when you follow them. The hosting provider processes technical information needed to serve this website. No advertising pixels are enabled. Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics. It measures page visits and site interactions using cookies; Google processes these usage data. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled. Query strings and fragments are excluded from the configured page URL. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice or withdraw consent. Rejecting analytics does not affect the directory, shortlist or comparison tools.

Correction emails

Correction links open your email app. Messages you choose to send go to the project owner for handling the request. Do not send children’s personal information. School-enquiry messages require the separate confirmation described above.

Clearing saved data

Remove saved schools individually or clear this website’s browser storage to erase the shortlist. Use the × button on the comparison bar to clear the selected comparison.

School representatives

A school-domain email receives a one-hour, single-use link through Resend. We store the email, school identifier and proposed corrections in our editorial queue for up to 90 days, removing expired unsubmitted personal data on subsequent requests. Updates do not publish automatically. Do not submit children’s information. Contact hello@schoolmatcheurope.com for review or deletion. Tokens and form contents are never sent to analytics.

Enquiries from a comparison

You may request separate messages to 2–4 selected schools. One confirmation link lets you review every recipient before sending. Each school receives only its own message and your reply email. Up to three requests per email per Europe/Warsaw calendar day are allowed, shared with individual school enquiries. The daily anti-abuse hash expires after 48 hours. The confirmation expires after one hour. Personal message payloads are removed after acceptance, an uncertain send, or expiry on the next request; terminal audit records are retained for up to 30 days. An uncertain result is never retried automatically.

Emailing a shortlist

The email option is shown only when the service is enabled. It uses Resend to send a confirmation link and the school list you request. Confirming your address does not subscribe you to a newsletter or contact schools. Pending requests contain your email, selected school identifiers and consent timestamp; links expire after one hour. Pending records are deleted on the next email request after expiry, and the personal payload is deleted when the shortlist is accepted by the provider. Hashed rate-limit keys are used to reduce abuse and expire after one hour. No email address, confirmation token or school-search description is sent to analytics.
