Joining the school

The school normally accepts applications in two periods: 1 November to 31 January and 1 March to 31 May for the following school year. Other applications may be considered if places are available. Outside Nursery and Reception, applicants need age-appropriate English to learn without additional language support. Learning needs must be manageable in a mainstream classroom without significant individual or one-to-one help. Families must provide written records of known needs.

A British pathway in Marbella

Aloha College Marbella is a non-profit educational foundation with provision from early years to sixth form. Its secondary programme leads to IGCSE examinations, giving families a British qualification route on the Costa del Sol. English readiness matters here. Aloha’s admissions guidance asks families to consider whether a child can access lessons in English. Before applying, discuss the language demands of the intended year group and the support available; an early-years application and a move into an examination course involve different starting points.

Learning and qualifications

Aloha teaches in English from ages 3 to 18. Primary combines the English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum. Pupils prepare for IGCSEs in Years 10-11, then choose the IB Diploma or International A Levels in Sixth Form. Spanish begins in Nursery, while French or German becomes an option from Year 7.

Campus and daily life

Primary runs from 9:00 to 15:40, with supervision from 8:30 until 16:00. Secondary runs from 9:00 to 16:00. Clubs for Year 1 and above usually run from 16:00 to 17:00. Most are teacher-led and free, but some externally run activities have an extra charge.

Application steps and reservation payments

After the initial enquiry, families use OpenApply to provide recent school reports and the requested identity documents. For Year 1 and above, children whose first language is not English need evidence of English proficiency. A formal application costs EUR 200 and is non-refundable. From Year 3, an assessment comes before an interview; Nursery to Year 2 applicants have an interview. A firm offer requires a EUR 2,500 non-refundable reservation payment within one week, deducted from the first payment. A waiting-list offer requires EUR 1,250, refundable if no place is offered. If a place becomes available, the remaining EUR 1,250 is due within 48 hours.

What the school fee includes

2026/27 tuition and first-year charges

The school links separate Primary and Secondary fee schedules for 2026/27. Full-day Nursery totals €8,165 across three published term invoices (€3,255 + €2,455 + €2,455); Year 7 totals €13,840 (€5,530 + €4,155 + €4,155). These are tuition amounts, not first-year totals. The €200 application fee, €3,000 first-child inscription fee and €195 administration fee are separate; lunch, bus and exams may also cost extra. The €2,500 reservation payment is deducted from the first invoice. Half-day Nursery is offered only for a child's first term, so it is not an annual comparison option.
