American foundations on the Bundek campus

The American International School of Zagreb provides a US-influenced education from pre-kindergarten through Grade 12. Its curriculum uses inquiry across academic subjects, with lower school covering Pre-K to Grade 5, middle school Grades 6–8 and upper school Grades 9–12. The school also offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

AISZ is based in Središće, opposite Bundek Lake. Families comparing it with Zagreb’s British schools should look at the sequence of courses and final qualifications rather than treating the programmes as interchangeable. For a high-school transfer, ask how completed courses count towards graduation and whether the IB route fits the student’s intended subjects.
