Senior-school joining payments 2026/27

2026/2027 · One-time joining payment; deposit residency and grade conditions stated
Registration — non-refundable£180
Entry deposit — UK-resident parents, Years 7–8£600
Entry deposit — UK-resident parents, Year 9 and above£2,000
Student-visa CAS administration, when applicable£780

Section A labels its basic fees inclusive of VAT. The entry deposit secures an accepted place and is held during attendance, then returned in October after completion of studies, less outstanding charges. Parents residing abroad instead pay a deposit of one term’s fees; that amount is not calculated here because the applicable attendance and year must be confirmed. The CAS charge is conditional on the student-visa service. Deposits are not presented as automatically lost charges.

Additional boarding charges 2026/27

2026/2027 · Additional boarding fee per term, inclusive of VAT; day tuition is separate
Years 7–8 — flexi boarding£1,950
Years 7–8 — weekly boarding£3,000
Years 7–8 — full boarding£3,900
Years 9–11 — flexi boarding£4,200
Years 9–11 — weekly boarding£4,700
Years 9–11 — full boarding£6,500
Lower Sixth — weekly boarding£6,700
Lower Sixth — full boarding£7,200
Upper Sixth — full boarding£7,200

These are boarding additions to the applicable day fee, not standalone tuition-and-boarding totals. The 2026/27 table does not offer flexi boarding in Sixth Form or weekly boarding in Upper Sixth; the footnote about Upper Sixth weekly provision concerns 2027/28, not this year. Flexi boarders in Years 7–11 may book permitted extra nights at £80 per night, excluding Saturdays. No annual conversion is made for these additional categories.

English-language support packages 2026/27

2026/2027 · Published additional fee per term, only for the assigned or agreed provision
EAL including IAP — two group lessons per week£783
Individual EAL — ten 45-minute lessons£649
Shared EAL — ten 45-minute lessons£394

The school assesses whether EAL is required and can make that decision before entry or after arrival; flexible packages are agreed each term. IAP pupils pay applicable EAL in addition to day tuition and full boarding. The EAL lines do not separately specify VAT inclusion, so confirm the applicable invoice rather than adding a tax rate. Bespoke Sixth Form learning support is quoted individually and is expressly stated to incur 20% VAT; no such unpriced service is assumed to be included in these EAL figures.

2026/27 senior day and boarding fees

The school’s 2026/27 senior fee document lists VAT-inclusive day fees of £8,648 per term in Year 7 and £12,090 per term in Sixth Form. With three school terms, these are £25,944 and £36,270 for the academic year. Full boarding is charged in addition to day tuition: £3,900 per term in Years 7–8 and £7,200 per term in Sixth Form. Year 7 day tuition plus full boarding is £37,644 across three terms; Sixth Form day tuition plus full boarding is £57,870. Registration, deposits, EAL or learning support where applicable, examinations, transport and other extras may be additional. Prep and nursery rates are separate.

Term invoices, notice and unquantified senior extras

The senior fees apply for the academic year beginning 1 September 2026; Michaelmas, Lent and Trinity are the three school terms. Each term’s invoice is due on the first day of that term. An agreed direct-debit plan from a UK bank account may split that term’s payment into no more than three instalments of 40%, 30% and 30%; this is a payment arrangement, not three new tuition charges. Withdrawal or a change from boarding to day status normally requires a full term’s written notice, with a longer rule for Year 11 pupils and particular pre-entry conditions. A boarder in both Michaelmas and Lent remains liable for the same boarding fee in Trinity even if changing to day status. Examinations, personal textbooks, device purchase or leasing, optional trips, specialist activities and other agreed services can be additional. Ask for the relevant plan and notice terms; no complete first-year total is calculated.
