Income assessment, siblings and special rates
The fee schedules valid from 1 August 2026 assess monthly tuition by grade and positive gross income of the legal guardians, using evidence from the previous calendar year. Without that evidence or an income-adjusted application, maximum tuition applies. Ordinary tuition reductions are 15% for a second child, 25% for a third and 100% for a fourth and further children; the German schedule says those reductions affect tuition only, not other charges. Lunch, examinations and care outside tuition
The dated fee schedule confirms free lunch for Grades 1–6 under Berlin Senate arrangements after direct registration with the caterer. Grades 7–12 meals are ordered separately and billed monthly by the catering company. Contract dates, notice and holding a place
The current school contract webpage says contracts renew automatically for the August-to-July school year unless cancelled in writing three months in advance. A shorter one-month notice period to month-end may be agreed for an unexpected move away from Berlin; this is not an automatic right for every withdrawal. The dated tariff allows a contract to be put on hold for at least two months and up to one year, at 25% of the applicable monthly tuition for each held month. Short-term enrolment remains subject to available places and an individual fee quotation. A twelve-month contract period alone has not been treated as proof of twelve billed tuition instalments.
