Support and school life
The published ethos emphasises kindness, individual interests and opportunities beyond the classroom. For a child who needs language or specialist learning support, ask for an individual assessment of what the school can provide and whether it costs extra.

Campus and daily arrangements
The College describes activities including debating, robotics, music ensembles and science interest groups. Open mornings give families a chance to speak with pupils and teachers. Activity examples are not a promise that each club will run in every term, so check the current programme and any selection requirements.

Deposits and the final account
Lower and Senior School deposits are due on the date in the offer letter. A full refund is available if the pupil does not meet the conditions stated in that offer. Otherwise the deposit is held until the pupil leaves the most senior school attended, with any balance credited without interest against the final extras or other sums due. It is not an advance contribution to tuition or boarding. Cancelling an accepted place without the required notice can make the higher of a term’s fees or the deposit payable under the contract.

Notice for leaving or changing boarding arrangements
Changing from full boarding to weekly boarding or day attendance normally requires at least two terms’ notice and may not be possible; a mid-year change can leave the previous boarding fee payable for the academic year. Existing Upper Fifth boarders also require two terms to leave. Other withdrawals and cancellation of accepted places require a full term plus the preceding holidays. Bus, music, LAMDA, debate and dance generally require half a term; the handbook applies this rule to paid co-curricular clubs in the Prep School. The schedule requires notice by 4pm on the relevant last day of term; the signed Standard Terms and Conditions govern the contract.

What the 2026/27 College fees include
Day fees cover teaching of the curriculum, including sports and arts, lunch and personal accident insurance. Boarding adds accommodation, breakfast, supper, laundry, continuous on-site medical, pastoral and security provision, supervised prep, and the specified evening and weekend activities. Textbooks, academic consumables, external examination fees, trips and other pupil-specific costs can be charged separately. The fee schedule applies to Michaelmas 2026, Hilary 2027 and Trinity 2027 and divides annual tuition and boarding into three equal termly payments.

Paying term fees and instalments
Fees are normally due in full before 8am on the first day of term. The College’s agreed direct-debit scheme divides each term’s bill into three equal deductions on or after the fifteenth: September–November, January–March and April–June. Dates follow the separate written agreement and term invoice. Late payments can attract 1.5% per month, applied daily, plus recovery costs. Bank transfers, Flywire and accepted cards are available; cash, cheques and American Express are not accepted.

Advance-payment and sibling reductions
The 2026/27 schedule offers a 1.25% reduction for the first academic year and 2.5% for later years when at least a full year is paid in advance; extras are excluded and the reduction is not cumulative. For new sibling offers from July 2026, where more than one child attends the College, all except the youngest receive 5% off net tuition and boarding after other awards. These allowances depend on timely payment. Bursaries for day pupils in Years 7–13 are individually assessed and awarded for one year, with a new application required each year.
