BISZ accepts boarding applications at its Zagreb campus. Its admissions policy says teaching and learning are in English, with other languages available as electives. Official boarding pages disagree on the boarding age band, so no age range is shown here.

British qualifications with on-campus boarding

The British International School of Zagreb follows the UK Key Stages from early years through Year 13. Primary education includes daily literacy and numeracy alongside the thematic International Primary Curriculum. Secondary pupils progress towards IGCSEs and then AS and A-level subjects chosen with their university plans in mind.

The school is at Dedići 102 and publishes boarding provision for students aged 13–19. Croatian language and culture are included for foreign primary pupils from Year 2, alongside other language options. This is a separate institution from Bright Horizons, despite their similar English names. Boarding applicants should check residential costs and academic placement as two parts of the application.

Day-school and boarding fees are different

The official fee page lists annual day tuition of €7,500 for Nursery/Reception, €14,500 for Years 1–6, €16,000 for Years 7–9 and €18,000 for Years 10–13. It does not label the academic year. Full boarding including tuition is €30,500 in a double room or €32,500 in a single room; admission costs €1,500 and Cambridge examination fees are separate. Obtain a dated quotation.

Application and budget details

The boarding quote combines tuition and full boarding and distinguishes single from shared rooms. A one-semester stay is priced at 70% of the annual tuition, not half. The published terms require written withdrawal notice six months before the next academic term. Ask for a dated contract and complete quote before paying non-refundable charges.
