What the term fee covers and what remains extra
Day fees include curriculum teaching, selected trips, sports and arts, lunch, personal accident insurance and after-school care until 19:00. Boarding adds term-time accommodation, breakfast, supper and laundry other than dry cleaning. The digital-device scheme is additional, and sponsored-visa support has its own annual cohort-based charge. Public GCSE, IB and A-level examinations are charged separately in the preceding term; the school gives an indicative £45–150 per-examination range rather than a fixed quote. Mandatory curriculum trips are covered, while optional trips and selected activities need separate consent and payment. Fee periods, invoices and payment plans
The school explicitly divides tuition equally across three academic terms, regardless of their length; examination terms remain payable in full even when a pupil leaves early after exams. Tuition is invoiced ahead of the term and due on its first day. Extras are generally charged in arrears, except devices charged in advance. Acceptance and notice conditions
Registration and acceptance fees are explicitly non-refundable; the acceptance deposit is a distinct payment, and its return or final-bill treatment must be checked in the parental contract. Withdrawal normally needs written notice, with separate rules for leaving at the end of Year 11, during Sixth Form and before joining. Bursaries, scholarships and sibling reductions
The 2026/27 booklet describes 20%day and 10%boarding fee reductions for eligible third and subsequent siblings, applied before other awards and subject to the school’s rules. Beale Awards are means-tested and also require the academic standard and UK tax residence of the fee-paying parent or parents; families should raise the application during registration.
