Payment dates and first-entry boarding fees
Ordinary fees must be paid on or before the first day of each term, using the instructions sent with the bill; cash payments are not accepted. The fee page gives an earlier rule for boarding: fees for the term of entry are payable by 31 March in the calendar year of entry, subject to the cited contract clauses. Do not substitute the ordinary first-day deadline for that boarding-entry requirement. The school reserves the right to change fees, usually reviewing them in September.

Included services and separately invoiced extras
The published fee includes tuition, lunch and afternoon tea, textbooks, games, societies and most clubs. Examination fees, the school bus, breakfast club, after-school club, homework club, and lost or damaged books can be added separately; no current fixed amounts are given for these items. Visiting music teachers are self-employed and issue their own fees and conditions. Pupils in Year 3 and above may buy breakfast. Ask for the child’s intended services rather than assuming every club or private lesson is included.

Bursaries and scholarships have individual conditions
Means-tested bursaries are offered at entry to Years 7, 9 and 12 for pupils meeting the entrance requirements. An award can cover up to all tuition fees, but depends on the family assessment, available funding and the school’s offer; it does not automatically cover extras. Scholarships may carry a small monetary award or be honorary. No bursary or scholarship reduction is included in the standard termly rates shown here.
