Language and learning support
The school combines academic ambition with a wider programme that includes music and careers networking. Ask about any additional learning needs. Discuss the child’s language background and any existing support plan before applying. Ask what help is available in lessons, how progress is reviewed and whether it carries an extra charge.

Separate weekly boarding tariff
| Years 7–9, weekly boarding | £13,500 |
|---|---|
| Years 10–13, weekly boarding | £14,500 |
The school quotes these weekly-boarding amounts per term. They are separate from full boarding and the international package, not annual prices. Confirm which attendance and tariff category applies to the child.

International boarding package
| International package, Years 7–8 | £17,565 |
|---|---|
| International package, Years 9–13 | £18,795 |
The current international-entry page links this actual 2026/27 PDF. Its annual-fees filename does not change the document’s explicit per-term unit. The package lists two 30-minute ESL tutorials each week, international-coordinator support, visa application cost and uniform. Additional expenses are separate; do not replace the standard day or full-boarding main rows with this package.

Registration payments
| Standard day or boarding registration — non-refundable | £120 |
|---|---|
| International registration — non-refundable | £180 |
The current fee page states these entry payments separately from tuition and acceptance deposits. The international amount is also in the dated 2026/27 international tariff. The general registration line does not give its own separate effective date.

Standard acceptance-deposit ceiling
| Standard day or boarding deposit — maximum; bursary amount may be lower | £1,800 |
|---|
This is a published maximum, not a universal fixed charge. The deposit is reduced for bursary pupils and held during attendance, then refunded after leaving net of outstanding charges. The international deposit instead equals one term’s fees; no fixed international deposit amount is inferred here. Ask whether VAT applies to the deposit itself.

| Day pupil overnight stay, when space permits | £85 |

Availability is conditional. This overnight charge is not the separate international leave-weekend package, full boarding or a quoted annual expense.

International termly extra and recommended spending
| House Funds — separately charged, including VAT | £53 |
|---|---|
| Pocket money — recommended spending, not a school fee | £40 |
The international tariff lists House Funds as an additional charge and £40 only as recommended pocket money. Pocket money is not compulsory tuition and its tax treatment is not stated. Do not treat the recommendation as a school invoice or combine these with an assumed number of terms.

International leave-weekend stay starting price
| Staying over a leave-weekend, including a full-day excursion — from | £340 |

The source expressly says from: £340 is a starting price for the particular weekend service, not a guaranteed charge for every stay or an annual total. Confirm the actual weekend and booking conditions.

Previous official international tariff — 2025/26
| International package, Years 7–8 | £16,729 |
|---|---|
| International package, Years 9–13 | £17,900 |
An actual earlier school tariff, read and visually checked. It is separate from SchoolMatch publication history and does not establish earlier domestic day or boarding rates. Its longer list of inclusions must not be carried forward as verified 2026/27 provision; the current package and extras have their own sources.

What the international package covers and excludes
The 2026/27 international tariff includes two 30-minute English-as-a-Second-Language tutorials each week, international-coordinator support, visa application cost and the Christ’s Hospital uniform. It lists airport transfers, leave-weekend stays, joining goods such as bedding and labelling, sportswear, House Funds, dry cleaning, learning support, music or LAMDA lessons, some broader-curriculum activities and miscellaneous items separately. Ask for itemised quotations for the unpriced services. The older 2025/26 tariff names meals, some outings and textbook hire among its inclusions; those older statements are not automatically extended to the current package.

Acceptance deposits and withdrawal before entry
For standard day and boarding places, the current fee page quotes a deposit of up to £1,800, reduced for pupils receiving bursaries, payable after successful assessment. International entrants instead pay a deposit equal to one term’s fees. The school says deposits are held for the pupil’s attendance and refunded after leaving, net of outstanding charges. A family that accepts a place and then withdraws before entry becomes liable for one term’s fees in lieu of notice; this is not a promise of cost-free cancellation. Obtain the offer-specific deposit and contract before paying.

Payment timing and conditional support
Fees are invoiced termly in advance, with a choice of termly payment or ten monthly instalments. The sources do not give equal monthly cash amounts, so none are calculated here. The current international sheet fixes sibling discounts at 8% for the second child and 10% for the third child when paying full fees; for bursary families, sibling concessions are discretionary. The general fee page offers a 10% full-boarding discount to FCO and Service families who do not qualify for a means-tested bursary. Means-tested assistance and scholarships are assessed individually; no discounted amount replaces the standard tariff.

Change in the published international termly rate
For the same international age bands, the school’s VAT-inclusive GBP rate per term changes from 16,729 in 2025/26 to 17,565 in 2026/27 for Years 7–8: an increase of £836, or 5.00% when rounded to two decimals. For Years 9–13 it changes from 17,900 to 18,795: £895, or 5.00%. These are calculated nominal tariff comparisons, not a full first-year budget or a comparison of all package inclusions. The documents describe inclusions differently and price extras separately. The actual older tariff is not an earlier SchoolMatch publication snapshot.
