Irish Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate
Clongowes describes a three-year Junior Cycle followed by Senior Cycle study towards the Irish Leaving Certificate. The Senior Cycle page says students take at least six Leaving Certificate subjects, usually seven or eight. Irish may be exempted for eligible pupils; French, German and Spanish are language choices, not evidence of additional teaching languages.

How the deposit is credited
The €3,000 acceptance deposit is not wholly additional tuition: half is applied to the first invoice. The balance is returned after the final Sixth Year account is settled. The fee page says non-attendance or subsequent withdrawal forfeits it; the payment policy also says issued invoices remain payable after a mid-term withdrawal.

Conditional family discounts
While two brothers attend, the second receives 7.5% off the fee. With three or more attending, the stated discounts are 10% for the second and 20% for subsequent boys. A separate 5% alumni concession requires a brother who completed six years. These are conditional concessions, not the standard price; no stacking is assumed.
