The 2026/27 school FAQ lists English, Danish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Czech and Romanian sections. Romanian is listed for M1–M2 only; Hungarian and Czech sections stop after primary, with secondary L1 support through the SWALS route. Other SWALS languages are not separate teaching sections.

Fees and the first-year budget

The Luxembourg schools’ 2026/27 enrolment form and the European Schools central fee page give different Category III amounts. A comparable annual tuition figure is withheld until the applicable schedule is reconciled. The school FAQ says Category III families pay a 25% deposit and the remaining 75% after the November invoice; confirm category, cycle, invoice and compulsory extras before budgeting.

Books, Photocopying and Locker Costs

The 2026/27 memorandum says parents buy the required textbooks and are billed for certain compulsory European Schools publications, including primary Intermath materials. Classroom photocopying is charged through an annual family contribution. Each secondary pupil must also have a locker and pay a non-refundable service charge. The memorandum does not price these items, so they are additional budget items rather than a verified fixed total.

Catering Costs and Payment

Nursery and primary catering is billed by term and paid to Sodexo in advance. Unused meals are normally not refundable, with an exception for verified medical reasons.
