Check the language model at each stage

The school describes English-medium education overall and a bilingual English-French kindergarten. Parents should ask how the language balance changes between early years and later classes.

ISL lists IB Primary Years and Diploma authorisation. Its Grades 6–8 middle-school course is described as a school programme informed by IB philosophy; that is not the same as claiming an authorised IB Middle Years Programme. Confirm the intended grade and later examination route.

Payer categories and separate compulsory costs

The 2026/27 schedule lists application €500 once, a refundable library deposit €350 and compulsory PTA membership €20 per child. The capital assessment is separate: company-sponsored Kindergarten/Primary €3,750 and Secondary €5,000. Private-payer Primary/Secondary capital charges are €3,750/5,000 for the first or second child and €1,875/2,500 for the third; no private Kindergarten capital amount is inferred from its blank table entry. Required ESOL in Grades 2–10 costs €650 per trimester. SEN, supplies, meals, care and certain trips/services add costs. Ordinary IBDP/IGCSE examination fees, school insurance and textbook/instrument loans are included; retakes and re-marks are excluded. Private reductions require the school’s signed forms; otherwise company rates apply.

Financial agreement and payment options

The 2026/27 French terms require a signed financial agreement before a pupil starts. Fees are normally due in full before 31 August. Private payers may pay in three or ten instalments by direct debit after signing and returning the agreement. Payments for this school year run from June 2026 to March 2027; later entrants have a shorter payment schedule, while entry after the winter break requires one payment. Families pay any bank-transfer charges. Confirm the schedule for the intended start date.

Late entry and withdrawal refunds

The 2026/27 French terms list late-entry charges of 65% of the applicable annual tuition after 31 December and 40% after 1 April. A pupil leaving before 31 December may receive a 35% tuition refund only if the legal guardian has notified the Director in writing before 1 December. No remaining tuition is refunded after 31 December, and no refund is given after expulsion. Ask the school to confirm the amount and applicable deadline for the actual joining or leaving date.

Loaned resources and residential curriculum trips

The library deposit is returned when the pupil leaves if loaned books and musical instruments are returned in good condition. For one residential curriculum trip per year in Primary and Middle School, the school covers 50% of the cost and families cover the remaining 50%. Local curriculum-related trips are included. Confirm the family contribution before booking a residential trip.

Duplicate invoices and overdue payments

The French terms provide one invoice per family and charge €50 for each duplicate invoice. They also list a €50 charge for each late or unpaid instalment. Where the signed financial agreement has not been returned, invoices still unpaid a month after issue are treated as overdue; the terms state monthly interest of 4.92% on the outstanding balance. Ask the Business Office to confirm the agreement, payment deadline and any late charges applicable to the invoice.
