Joining the school

Turin is a co-educational day school. Families can arrange a video meeting or individual tour before applying online. Placement considers previous schooling, transfer documents, birth date and English skills. All applicants for Grades 6-12 take placement tests in English and mathematics. The published priority order starts with international English-speaking applicants, then international applicants who do not speak English, then siblings of enrolled pupils. Its age guide starts with Nursery at age 3.

Pre-Nursery from 20 months through high school at 18

IST's current Early Years page describes Pioneers Pre-Nursery from 20 months, while its programme page lists High School ages 14–18. The 20-month entry is a separate early-years group; the admissions grade-equivalence table begins at Nursery age three. Check placement and availability for the intended stage.

An IB school in Chieri serving the Turin area

The school’s address is Strada Pecetto 34 in Chieri. Its name refers to Turin, but families should use the actual campus location when choosing a home or planning a visit. The published programme runs from early childhood to the IB Diploma.

The admissions age table begins with Nursery at age three. Applicants to Grades 6–12 take placement examinations in English and Mathematics. Ask admissions to match your child’s current school year with the intended grade and confirm the full fee schedule.

Learning and qualifications

Turin teaches in English and offers the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma programmes. This gives pupils a connected route from preschool to the final school qualification. The campus is also an authorised test centre for SAT, DELE and Goethe examinations; these tests are separate from the IB school pathway.

Campus and daily life

The school lists three science laboratories, music, art and design spaces, a library and research centre, an indoor gym and outdoor sports fields. Early Years has its own learning and outdoor play spaces. Meals are prepared through the in-house Good School Food service. Pupils also work in an eco-garden. Activities include performing arts, Latin, Model United Nations, student clubs and secondary sports teams.

Annual tuition and payment schedule

The official 2026/27 schedule lists annual tuition by grade, from €8,500 for Nursery to €19,200 for Grades 11–12. Pre-Nursery has its own €9,300 tariff. The annual amount is payable in three instalments: 50% by 15 September, 40% by 15 January and 10% by 15 April. Registration and applicable additional services are separate.

Registration charges for new and returning pupils

For 2026/27, the non-refundable new-student registration fee is €3,300 for applications by 31 January and €3,800 after 1 February. Returning-student confirmation is €600 by 31 January or €1,200 after 1 February. Enrolment is subject to available places. These charges are separate from annual tuition; use the category and deadline that apply to your child.

Transport, uniforms and individual support

The 2026/27 schedule charges separately for school transport, after-school activities, uniforms, English-language learning and SEN support. Uniforms are required from Nursery through Grade 10. English-language learning and SEN support each have an additional annual charge of up to €3,000, depending on the service; these are limits, not flat charges for every pupil. Transport is unavailable for Pre-Nursery. Ask for the written breakdown of inclusions and the services your child will actually use.
