Lycée International de Saint-Germain-en-Laye

Joining the school

For 2026/27, entry starts with the chosen international section. Families submit a file and take that section’s language tests. Primary assessment can be oral, written or both, depending on age; collège and lycée require both. The process applies to children seeking the special French class as well. Admission is not based on a local catchment alone. Contact the section first; school enrolment follows a successful admission decision.

Learning and qualifications

Pupils combine the French national programme with one of fourteen international sections. The section is a substantial language pathway, not simply an optional language lesson. Entry requires enough command of its language, which can come from family background or prior schooling. Confirm the section, stage and teaching site together before making relocation plans.
