Teaching language

British, Spanish and IB elements in Elche

Newton College in Elche combines British and Spanish curricula with the IB Middle Years and Diploma programmes. Primary education uses an English-Spanish bilingual approach, and the wider learning journey extends from early years to sixth form.

The programme changes by stage, so an IB label alone does not explain a younger child’s timetable. Ask how the primary curriculum prepares pupils for the Middle Years Programme and which route follows in the final years. For a transfer, compare both language demands and subject coverage with the child’s current school before settling on a year-group placement.

Application and budget details

The tuition page checked on 15 September 2026 is still labelled 2025–26. It should not be treated as a confirmed 2026/27 quotation. It also contains a July 2025 advance-payment deadline and unclear year-group labels for lunch charges. Request a new itemised fee schedule covering tuition, annual re-enrolment, lunch, bus travel and uniform before setting a budget.
