British and Portuguese routes in Lagoa

Nobel Algarve Lagoa offers an English National Curriculum pathway with IGCSEs, BTEC and A-levels. A separate Portuguese national pathway is also available. Families can therefore compare two curricular routes within the same Algarve school.

The decision involves both teaching language and the qualifications a student will work towards. Ask when the routes separate and what a transfer between them would require. Do not use the Almancil campus’s IB information as a description of Lagoa: the two Nobel schools publish different upper-school pathways.

Application and budget details

The Lagoa fee page lists monthly tuition payments by direct debit with an additional €50 charge each year. Request the dated Lagoa pricing document to compare tuition, meals, transport and activities. This campus advertises British and Portuguese routes, leading towards IGCSE and A levels or the Portuguese high-school diploma; the Almancil IB or BTEC wording should not be applied to Lagoa.
