St. John’s says English is the primary language of instruction throughout its Waterloo school. Examinations, language support and transport
The 2026/27 schedule lists a mandatory €500 Grade 10 MYP eAssessment and support-material charge. Other route-specific charges are €1,275 for Grade 12 IB Diploma exams/materials, €750 for IB Course exams/materials in Grades 11–12, or €135 per AP exam in Grades 10–12. Intensive EAL in Grades 6–10 costs €1,750 for fifteen weeks, rather than a whole year. Optional annual bus fees are €3,740 round trip or €2,780 one way. Performing-arts participation is €150 per production and NECIS participation €150 per season; other activities and optional overnight trips have individual charges.

Food, care and payment plans
Separate annual day-food prices are €770 for EY2–EY4, €1,230 for EY5–Grade 2 and €1,600 for Grades 3–12. Cub Care from 16:00 to 18:00 is €15 per day for EY1–Grade 5. Annual tuition is the default payment option; termly instalments require agreement and a €200 annual administration fee. The SEPA note also quotes €200 a year; confirm how it applies rather than automatically adding a second administration charge. The terms require instalment settlement by 1 April and contain detailed withdrawal obligations. Ask the Business Office to confirm the applicable late-payment terms, because the short fees list and full terms describe interest differently.

Boarding includes meals under the full terms
Full boarding is €18,980 a year, or €16,770 for weekly boarding, in addition to tuition. The 2026/27 terms define weekly boarding as Sunday night to Thursday night and full boarding as Sunday night to Saturday night, and expressly include breakfast, lunch and dinner. The separate annual day-food charge should therefore not be added to a boarder’s budget by default. Daily boarding or short exchanges are listed at €150 per day.
