British stages, Spanish ESO and the IB

Swans International School in Marbella follows a British curriculum alongside Spanish ESO. Its published stages progress from early years through IGCSEs to the IB. This gives families a qualification sequence that changes as children move into the final school years.

Swans publishes a guide matching dates of birth to educational stages. Use it when discussing a transfer, especially if the child’s current system uses different year names or cut-off dates. Learning and qualifications

Swans follows a British primary and secondary route towards GCSE or IGCSE, then the IB Diploma in Sixth Form. Spanish nationals and pupils with native-level Spanish also follow Spanish EP and ESO study, which can lead to a dual qualification. This extra Spanish route does not automatically apply to every pupil. Confirm language readiness and the planned subjects before accepting a place.

Entrance fee and support costs

The school’s enrolment terms list a one-time, non-refundable entrance fee of €1,975 for Foundation Stage, €2,975 for Years 1–6 or €3,975 for Years 7–13, plus a €1,000 deposit subject to the stated refund and notice conditions.
