Joining the school

Upload the child's birth certificate and passport, parents' identity and residence details, and two recent school years of reports for children over three. Include any relevant SEN report. A transfer from a private school also needs a statement that no school fees remain unpaid. After the registration fee, the school arranges an interview and personalised assessment, including English writing, speaking and comprehension.

British schooling through sixth form in Tenerife

Wingate School provides British international education for ages 3 to 18 in Tenerife. Its published stages cover foundation, primary, secondary and sixth form, following the English National Curriculum. The school also describes activities beyond classroom lessons.

The stage-by-stage structure helps families examine the provision relevant to their child. Ask which activities are available at that age and how they fit the school day. For secondary or sixth-form entry, discuss examination subjects and previous learning directly, as moving between national systems can require more than matching the child’s age to a year group.
