Entry ages and daily arrangements
Children must be four by 1 September for Discovery, five for Explorers and six for Grade 1. Placement also considers previous schooling. ISH has no boarding or accommodation facilities and does not require a uniform. A hot-lunch programme is available. Ask admissions about the lunch arrangements and cost for your child’s year group.

Documents, application fee and interviews
Apply through OpenApply with a passport copy, the enrolment and payment agreement, school reports for the previous two complete years where applicable, and the relevant parent survey and teacher references. Documents must be in English, or include English translations with the originals. The application fee is €350 per child, payable by credit card. Upper School applicants also submit an introductory letter in English and subject references. Grades 9–12 applicants are interviewed and may need an English assessment. Children must live with a parent or a designated guardian whose arrangements the school checks.

The full 2026/27 terms describe supplementary tuition, non-residency charges and first registration for Grades 1–12 as voluntary payments, with a separate statutory-fee rule for specified student-permit entrants to Grades 10–12 from 1 August 2026. Entry charges and a conflicting application fee
First registration is €3,200 and is non-refundable once paid. If entry is delayed, the terms say it will not be charged again for three school years, including the year of payment. The refundable security deposit is €1,000 per family and is held against unpaid fees or dues. Where applicable, the annual non-residency charge is €2,954 for Grades 1–9 or €2,706 for Grades 10–12. The €500 spring re-registration deposit is credited against the following year’s tuition and is non-refundable if the pupil does not return. The dated fee terms list €355 for an application, while the admissions checklist says €350; confirm the payable amount before applying. These charges do not form one compulsory first-year total for every pupil.

Late entry, early departure and overdue payments
The 2026/27 terms require 30 days’ advance notice of departure. A late arrival is charged from the start of the month of arrival, with that month charged in full. For departures by 28 February, the terms provide a refund of basic and supplementary tuition for full trimesters not attended; any trimester started must be paid in full. Departures after 28 February receive no refund. Application, registration and non-residency charges are non-refundable. Overdue payments carry interest of 7% per year. Ask the Business Office for the settlement applicable to the intended leaving date.
