Application and budget details
Le Rosey uses rolling admissions for classes 9-4, equivalent to UK Years 4-9, with a campus day, tests and an interview. Older entry to classes 3, 2 and 1 uses rounds. The published dossier deadlines are 8 October 2026, 26 November 2026 and 11 February 2027, followed by decisions in November, December and March. Candidates may be accepted, deferred, waitlisted or refused. The younger route tests mathematics, English or French, and the pupil’s mother tongue.

The reviewed schedules apply to 2027/28. The non-refundable application charge is CHF 3,000. Boarding acceptance payments include the first term and an CHF 18,000 held guarantee: CHF 54,300 for Juniors or CHF 72,800 for Cadets/Seniors; the tuition element must not be counted twice. Junior day acceptance wording has an unresolved conflict between the CHF 33,700 combined payment and the stated CHF 18,000 guarantee, so request a written breakdown. Classes 1/t in IB add CHF 13,900 annually; the French Baccalaureate classes 1/T add CHF 4,900. Non-Swiss-resident pupils require the school health package, CHF 3,950 annually; the senior document also has a CHF 8,620 older-pupil category, whose precise age threshold should be confirmed because the French and English wording differ. What next-year fees cover and which extras vary
The 2027/28 schedules include school books, official classes, listed sports and group activities, third-party insurance and compulsory expeditions. Boarders’ accommodation, meals, standard laundry and specified on-campus boarding activities are included. Personal uniforms/equipment, school stationery, optional private lessons, optional trips, personal transport and other individual expenses remain separate. Junior and Senior private academic lessons are quoted as CHF 100–120 per period, with prior parental authorisation, while optional outing costs vary by event. These ranges do not form a personal first-year quotation. The future schedules do not establish current 2026/27 charges.

Next-year due dates and withdrawal conditions
For new pupils entering in 2027/28, the second term is due by 31 March 2027, or within ten days of admission when admission is after 20 March; the third term is due by 31 January 2028. Continuing boarders pay the first two terms together under the respective schedule. Continuing Junior day pupils instead pay each term one month before it begins. Parents withdrawing for2027/28 must notify the school in writing by 31 March 2027; cancellation between then and the start of school normally forfeits the first-term payment. During a term, unilateral withdrawal or expulsion makes that term and the following one payable; a departure agreed with the school makes only the current term payable. Full fees continue during temporary absence. These are summaries of the school’s future-year terms, whose French version governs.
